School Garden
We are delighted to announce that our school garden is now up and running. Following Dale’s preliminary visit to teach the classes about mini beasts, Dale Treadwell returned to our school to prepare the ground for our new garden. Parents and Teachers came to the school on a Wednesday evening to put the compost in the beds.
Classes then went out on Thursday and planted the beds with different plants to create a Sensory Garden.
The aim of the project is to create a sensory garden where the children learn how things grow and take on the responsibility for the caring of the garden.
Any Parent/Guardian volnteers available to water the garden in August please contact the Principal.
Our Parent’s Association are helping with fundraising for the Garden. We would appreciate any loose change that you may have to contribute. Our collection point is in the school reception point.
