IABA Dublin Primary Schools Boxing Competition in the National Stadium!
Boxing in the National Stadium
A number of children were chosen to go on to do the Gold and Silver award in Boxing under the coaching of Michael Carruth. Children participated in training in Trinity Boxing club and also travelled to the National Stadium for further training against other Dublin Primary Schools. This all led to an outstanding event in the National Stadium on the night of June 29th, where a number of boys and girls represented Scoil Cholmcille in the Dublin Primary Schools Boxing event organised by the IABA.
Parents and teachers were there to support and commend pupils on their sporting prowess. Children were presented with medals and certificates and a great sense of achievement was enjoyed by all who participated.
